When should I book my session?
As soon as possible! My schedule books up very quickly. For maternity sessions, I recommend doing your session between 32-35 weeks. I also recommend that you book your newborn session when you are at the beginning of your second trimester to guarantee room on my calendar. However, it is never too late to book! I will always try to squeeze in a last minute session if my schedule allows it.
When is the best time for newborn pictures?
I recommend doing your newborn session between 5-14 days old. This is when babies are at their most sleepy and bendy so that I can work with them to achieve the most poses. However, if it is necessary to book your newborn session after the 14 day window has passed, don’t worry, I will still be happy to work with you and your baby to capture them when they are still tiny.
Are digital images included with my session fee?
Digital images are not included in your session fee and are sold separately. You may purchase single digital images or a digital collection after you have seen your gallery of images. If you choose to purchase digital images, you will receive a print release allowing you to print your images with your favorite printer. Please inquire for a complete price list of products.
How long will my gallery take?
I aim to deliver your initial gallery within a week of your session. This is the gallery that has not yet been edited so you can choose which images you would like to purchase. Your fully edited gallery however takes longer to complete and I aim to deliver that gallery within about 3-4 weeks. During busy times of the year however, this can take up to 6 weeks.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Throughout the year I do run a small number of mini sessions. I offer these to anyone signed up for my newsletter first, and then they are announced on my Facebook page, so please feel free to sign up and watch those spaces carefully!
What should I wear?
Wear what you are comfortable in! You can always tell in a picture if you’re uncomfortable! I recommend starting with the most difficult person to dress and then choose a coordinating wardrobe for the rest of the family! It’s usually best to have a coordinated wardrobe rather than a matching one and my only rule would be to avoid stripes!
Do you offer gift certificates?
